Rocky Horror!

I went a few weeks ago with my friend Kirstin to see Rocky Horror on stage starring the one and only Sharon Needles as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, she was FANTASTIC! For those who don't know, Sharon was the winner of RuPaul's Drag Race season 4. ;) The show was great and we had a good time, even got to get Sharon's autograph after the show, she's so fab and I felt like a total boob. Anywho, on to the look!

Didn't get the lashes as close to the lash line as I wanted. OH WELL!

Hope you like this look and thank you for reading. :)

LOVE + vs @#$%!

I have a mild obsession with Sugarpill and red eye shadows and so of course I had to get my hands on @#$%! which is a limited edition shadow. When I got it at first I thought it was a dead on dupe for Love+ but after really comparing I have come to see the differences in the shades. They are similar I will not lie, but different enough to me to not feel like I bought the same color with just silver sparkles added to it. lol

Left to right: @#$%! is the top and Love+ is the bottom, no base. Love+ with no base and then over primer. @#$%! no base and then over primer (no flash)

With flash
As you can see, while similar Love+ is a bit darker and not as pink toned as @#$%! with a kinda gold shimmer to it while @#$%! has the silver glitter. Both are very pigmented and apply pretty opaquely without primer and are even more awesome over primer. They are both very smooth and swatched easily. I see myself putting @#$%! to work pretty often and am thinking of doing a look using both soon. I hope you found this comparison helpful.

My kinda sorta Hulk look

Last night I was getting ready to go out and I decided to play with my Concrete Minerals Pro matte shadows. As I was going along I figured I would snap a few pics of the process and do a sort of picture tutorial, it wasn't until after that I realized the colors I chose were 'Hulkish". Hulkish or not, I really liked the look and I hope you do too. :)

I didn't take a pic of this, but I primed my eye with GDE Control Freak primer and then covered my whole eye with Tick:Tock's Infinity base in Milky Way

Pat on Concrete Minerals' Pro Matte shadow in Toxic all over the lid

Then take BFTE's shadow in Black on the outer lid and up into crease blending with Toxic

The add CM's Pro Matte shadow in Ravage and blend that into the crease with Black and also blend it into the outer corner and somewhat into Toxic. Then add Tako by Sugarpill as the highlight color.

Fill in your brows and line your eyes

Here is the finished product eyes closed and after adding mascara

Jeepers, I need foundation! lol

Full face, lips are MAC lipstick in Style Curve

VOILA!
I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial and I think that I will do some more in the future!

Products Used:
Primer: GDE's Control Freak
Base: Tick:Tock's Infinity base in Milky Way
Lid: Concrete Minerals' Pro Matte shadow in Toxic
2nd lid color and crease: CM's Pro Matte shadow in Ravage

Liner: BFTE shadow in Black foiled
Brows: BFTE shadow in Black
Mascara: Tarte's Lights, Camera Lashes mascara in black

I decided last minute last night to go have sushi and that meant doing my makeup. What did I go for you ask? Sugarpill of course! I just had to break out my new Heart Breaker palette and am really happy with how the look came out! The colors blended really well together and were nice and vibrant. I only got a few pics of my eye as I was in a little bit of a hurry and hadn't done my whole face yet but wanted to at least get the eye makeup. On to the pics!
