Night at the movies

So Friday night I was persuaded by my adorable 13 year old niece Shelbi to take her to go see Breaking Dawn pt1. I figured since this would be the perfect time to break out my Glamour Doll Eyes Twi-Shadows! While the film in my opinion was lack luster and full of cheese, the shadows I used were not and were highly pigmented and a dream to work with!  For some reason my skin was coming off really pale when taking pics and I couldn't seem to take one where I didn't think I looked like a big dummy, but I am posting some full face pics anyway due to the gloss I am wearing. On to the pics!

Beauty From the Earth Review

When BFTE introduced their blogger review sets the other day I jumped on it! They had several sets to choose from where you got 3 full size shadows and 3 sample bags for $12, I chose the matte set since I realized recently my collection is seriously deprived of matte shadows. Shipping as always was super fast and I had my package within 3 days of ordering the set. I even got a call from Crystal to make sure I didn't already have the colors she was thinking of sending me which was just another reason to add on my really long list of reasons why I love BFTE in the first place! All the colors I received I am really glad to now own and I can honestly say I have never felt disappointed in this company. I have been ordering for almost 2 years now and had a slight mix up one time and it was fixed quickly and professionally. Sadly, I haven't had time to really play with them and do a look with the new colors I received, but that will come soon and when it does I shall post. Now onto the swatches! :)

L-R Patriot, Grassy, Pride

Pride: A matte kinda lavender color. Blended nicely and was pretty smooth.

Patriot: A matte dark blue, almost looks Navy in the pot (my camera made it look lighter. :/) Also blended well and I think it was my fav of the bunch.

Grassy: A matte grass green color. Pigmented and blended well

Grassy

Patriot (for some reason this looks kinda purpley in the pic, I couldn't get my lame camera to get a good pic of it. ) :(

Pride

Top left: Pride Top right: Patriot Bottom: Grassy. (all swatches done on clean dry skin with no primer or anything)

Sample 1: Stunning. This name of this color is perfect a this really is a stunning shade of pink. I have had this color awhile and it is one of my favorite pinks in my collection! Very pigmented and easy to blend.

Sample 2: Paradise. This is a beautiful frosty blue, looks kinda silver on my skin but I assure you  it is just my camera. Can't wait to play with this one more!

Sample 3: Canyon. I love this color and it will definitely be in my next order! Would be great for brightening the inner corner of your eye, as a highlight or for a day when you just want a light wash of color. It's a beigey color with some gold shimmer to it!

Top left, Stunning. Top right, Paradise. Bottom: Canyon. Again, all swatches done on clean, dry skin with no primer or anything.

I forgot to mention up top that they came wrapped in black tissue paper and together in a little white bag. Also for those of you wondering, they always come with sealed sifters and the ingredients are listed on the bottom of the jar and are labeled as what they can and can not be used for. I HIGHLY recommend BFTE to anyone, they have excellent customer service and a huge array of colors to suit anyone's tastes. You definitely won't be disappointed if you do!

I hope all you guys and gals have a wonderful Monday!

Struttin'

Today felt like a teal day so I decided to use one of my favorite teals of all time, Peacock from none other than Beauty from the Earth! It was a quick and simple look as I didn't have a ton of time this morning when getting ready for work and I kinda fudged up the liner on my left eye when I looked at the clock and started rushing. lol But overall I really like how it came out and figured I would share. I hope you enjoy and as always the products I used will be at the bottom after pics. :)

I hope everyone has a very lucky Friday the 13th and a great weekend. Thanks for reading! :)

Products:
Lid and crease: BFTE in Peacock (wet over lid with some dry patted on top for and blended it dry in the crease)
Transition color between crease and highlight: Glamour Doll Eyes in Brown Eyed Girl
Highlight and inner corner: BFTE in Beautiful
Upper and lower liner: Urban Decay 24/7 pencil in Perversion set with BFTE in Black
Mascara: Maybelline Colossal Volume in Black
Foundation: Bare Minerals Matte foundation in Golden Medium
Lips I had Glamour Doll Eyes' glamour gloss in Fashionista but I drank some coffee and it came off. :(

Play time!

So I got off work today and decided to play around with some Beauty From the Earth! It has been cold and gray today so I decided to do something bright and very "Summer". I really like how this came out besides the top liner as liner is my weak point right now, hopefully that will get better sometime. Anywho, I hope you guys enjoy this look as much as I did. As always the products used will be listed after the pics. :)

My eye looks sleepy. lol

Thank you so much for looking and I hope you like my spur of the moment eye!

Products:
Lid: BFTE in Melon (wet with some dry on top)
Crease: BFTE in Lava Momma
Highlight and inner corner: BFTE in Lace
Top eyeliner: BFTE in Blue De Genes
Bottom liner: BFTE in Grape

My belated New Years look using Sugarpill

I am so sorry for not blogging as of late! I have been having a rough time and have not been in the blogging mood, and not wearing makeup really so I haven't really had anything to blog. I did however decide to do my makeup for New Years and I went with red and black. I used my beloved Sugarpill for this look and I hope you enjoy! Sorry for the not so good pics, I took them in a hurry with my phone. Also, I will try to blog more and apologize for my long absence. On with the pics!

Don't mind my face and brows, I usually do my eyes first and hadn't put on foundation or lipstick yet. lol

Products used:
Inner corner and highlight: Sugarpill's Lumi
Lid: Sugarpill Asylum
Crease and waterline: Sugarpill Stella

Where to find them: Sugarpill Shop

I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I hope to have another post up soon.

Hips, whips and strawberry lips.
