Moi Minerals lip gloss mania!

Recently there was a lip gloss sample sale on the Moi Minerals site and I so took advantage of the 7 samples for $10 deal. I love every other gloss I have ever gotten from Moi and these are no exception! The glosses are thick but not sticky and feel super nice on your lips. Highly recommend you check out their glosses if you haven't already. They range from $2- $6.99 and come in sample size, 3.5 ml tubes and 8ml tubes and come with doe foot applicators on the non sample sizes.

*This was my first time really focusing on lip swatches and had sort of a hard time taking the pics, so please excuse them! Gloss descriptions are off the site.

My invoice with note from Holly. :)

The label has Pandora written on the bottom gloss, but the color is Paranormal.

Violent Violet (LOVE)

Paranormal: Awesomely fun shade

Outer Space: I was trying to get the light to hit just right to show the shimmers and ending up looking duck facey :( (LOVE this gloss)

Yet again Holly rocks my socks with her awesome products and customer service! If you still have yet to check them out you really are missing out on some great stuff. Prices are right, shipping is at a good rate and customer service is wonderful. What colors do you have or want from Moi? Have you tried them out and if so what did you think?
Have a lovely weekend everyone and as always:

Madd Style Cosmetics first impression

Recently I found about Madd Style Cosmetix and figured I would give them a go, I am glad that I did. Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE 'Grease' and so when I saw they were putting out the Summer Lovin' collection I figured it was now the perfect time to try out Madd Style. The collection had 4 new shadow colors that were exclusive to the grab bag, a lip balm and a sample of their new Glow Bronzer. I have yet to use the colors in a look since I got them as my allergies have been acting up making me have watery eyes, but I was impressed by their smoothness and pigmentation when swatching them. Once the TAT was over, my package was shipped and received quickly. They were packaged in a bubble mailer and the shadows were wrapped in a cute little bag. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and will be purchasing more in the future. :)

The little bag everything was wrapped up in.

Everything together

A free sample: LOVED this color, definitely need a full size!

The lip balm, it feels like silk on and smells like happiness

Top to bottom: Tank Girl, Pink Ladies, Beauty School Dropout, T-Birds and Greased  Lightning (no flash)

Cha-cha Bronzer (no flash)

Up close, no flash
My favorites of the bunch are Tank Girl, Pink Ladies and Greased Lightning though I really like each one.
I hope you all found this to be informative and I hope that you give them a try!

Concrete Minerals Pro matte shadows swatches and mini review

I am so happy to finally be sharing these with you guys, it was a bit of a long road traveled but I have them now and am excited to show them to you! What they are are the new Pro matte shadows from Concrete Minerals! These babies are pretty intense and not for the faint of heart, the insane pigmentation of them along with being super bright and fun reminded me a bit of Sugarpill, which in my humble opinion is a very good thing! I had originally ordered Toxic, Ravage, Risque and Domino but was also sent Hi-Fi due to it taking a little over a month to get my order to me and it is the color that turned out to be my favorite of the bunch! Not only are these colors pigmented to the max, but they blend wonderfully and are very smooth. Ravage though I did have a tiny bit more trouble with swatching, but not a ton and I think it will be a fun shade to play with in looks. I swatched these for you guys with and without primer so you could see how they look both ways. Overall, I am very pleased with these shades and will use them often, but after the experience of purchasing them I am kinda wary about buying again, which is very unfortunate as I have always considered them one of my favorite companies to shop at. :/

A nice little note from Em the owner. (the shadows are in those weird places to cover my address. lol)

I love the labels they had made up for these!

The backs with ingredients

L-R Toxic, Domino, Risque, Ravage, Hi-Fi (no primer)

L-R Hi-Fi, Ravage, Risque, Domino, Toxic over Concrete Minerals Electric eye primer

Hi-Fi♥:  a matte magenta. LOVE this color, it was also the easiest of the group to swatch, will get used TONS!

Ravage: matte purple.

Risque: matte true red. At first I thought this would be a dupe for Love + from Sugarpill but it is lighter with no sheen. I swatched them next to each other for comparison.

Domino: matte Peacock blue.

Toxic: a matte lime green, being I am a sucker for lime green it WILL get used a ton!

L-R Toxic, Domino, Risque, Ravage, Hi-Fi

Love + on left and Risque on right
I wore Hi-Fi today for my work look and was in love with how well it blended, it was like soft butter! I really look forward to using the rest of these in the coming days and you can check out my FOTD using this color here: FOTD 6/14. I really hope you guys liked this little post!

I hope y'all have a great Thursday and as always:

Hips, whips and strawberry lips,

*Note Hi-Fi and Risque stained my arm a little after removing the swatches, but it came off easily with makeup remover.
