Custom He-Man and She-Ra collection!

Awhile back I went to the lovely Holly over at Moi Minerals and asked her if she could work her magic on a He-Man and She-ra inspired set for me, much to my happiness she agreed! I had a SUPER hard time narrowing down which characters I wanted the colors modeled by as between the series there are tons of great choices. I finally settled on He-Man, She-ra, Hordak, Evil-lyn, Battle Cat, Swiftwind, Skeletor and The sorceress of Grey Skull. I am super tempted to ask her again to do some inspired by Man-at-arms, Teela, Orko and a few others, but we shall see about that. lol. I am really pleased with this collection and was happy and surprised to find she added in a tube of Hubba Hubba lip balm to the mix.Thank you Holly! ♥

I love the labels for the balms!

Such a pretty balm, sadly I forgot to do a swatch pic :(

I love the added touch of the labels!

Madd Style Cosmetics Happy Birfday collection plus 2!

I have for you today the Happy Birfday collection from Madd Style Cosmetics. I discovered them about a month or so ago and am glad I did, the colors are fun and Mo the owner is a doll. Also in this package I got two other colors that I had been eying for a bit which will be included in this post as well. All of Madd Styles shadows are vegan and cruelty free which of course is a huge bonus for us animal lovers. My packages usually ship out about 3-4 days after I order and I receive them about 3 days after that. I would definitely recommend this brand to anyone and if you like FB Groups definitely join their crazy colorful group here: Madd Style Cosmetics: The Makeup bag. PICS AWAY!!!!

These colors all swatched well with two swipes of my brush. Like the other shadows I have from MSC they are very pigmented and smooth. My next order(s) will be of the Twisted Wonderland, Psychedelic Wonderland and Dr. Who mattes. You can still get the Happy Birfday collection here :Happy Birfday collection. Mon Ennui swatches and first impression

I have a few swatches for you today from Mon Ennui Cosmetics! I have been teetering back and forth on ordering from this company for a while now and am glad that I finally did, the colors that I got are gorgeous! I ordered 5 deluxe samples at $4 a piece, a bit more than what other companies charge for samples, but with how insanely pigmented these colors are you don't have to use much at all and I am pretty sure the samples will last me at least 10 uses or so. The shipping was incredibly quick, I ordered on Friday afternoon and had my new pretties by Monday. The site is easy to navigate and they have a nice variety of shadows and other products to try. Price seems to range between $7 - $15.50 per shadow or glitter. I am really wanting to try their UV pigments, but will have to set some money aside for those. One thing I do wish is that there were sample sizes available for all the colors and not just certain shades, so you don't have to fully commit to a color that you might not even end up liking enough to warrant having a full jar of. (Hope that made sense) Other than that one thing, I would definitely buy from Mon Ennui again when I get the chance and suggest you guys check them out. On to the swatches!

Left to Right : Benthos, Mr. X,Hyperbole Blue,Absinthesis, Vermillion Lies (no flash in my regular room lighting)

Top to bottom with flash: Vermillion Lies, Absinthesis, Hyperbole Blue, Mr. X , Benthos

No flash, zoomed in close to a lamp
*Swatches done dry over Concrete Minerals Electric eye primer

Color descriptions taken off site:

Benthos: A satiny deep Navy/Cobalt blue that shifts to dark violet depending on the angle and light.
Vermillion Lies: Didn't have a description, but it is a true red with red sparkle.
Mr. X: A highly metallic non-glittery shifting neutral pigment.
Absinthesis: Dark Forest Green Base with lots of shimmery goodness! Shifts between various shades of green: Golden Olive to Emerald to Dark Forest
Hyperbole Blue: Dark Navy/Black base with lots of shimmery goodness. Shifts from Navy to Indigo to Blue to Violet to Purple

Each one of these colors is pigmented to the gills, I only had to do one swipe with a wide brush to swatch them. They are very smooth and opaque and the color shifts are lovely. I'm really looking forward to playing with these colors some more and am looking forward to getting more shades from this company. Have you tried Mon Ennui? What is your favorite color? Which should I get next?

Thanks for reading and I hope you all have a great rest of your week and as always.

BFTE Swatches!

I had not ordered from BFTE in some time and decided to get this past week's COTW which was a new duochrome by the name of Splash. The COTW (color of the week) is a full size eye shadow and 3 samples for $6 that will come out to a flat $10 once shipping is added in. You can either get shadow, foundation or blush as your sample choices, I chose blushes. I also added a limited color called Winter Wonderland to my order, this color had been a part of the Christmas collection that I missed out on.

Top to bottom: Winter Wonderland, Splash (no base) and Splash over black base (used flash)

Left to Right: Pinked, Destiny and Doll Face

Both shadows are absolutely stunning and I can't wait to play with them! Of the blushes I think I will get the most use out of Destiny and Pinked though I like them all. Have you tried BFTE? If so what is your favorite color?

Hope you all have a lovely Wednesday and as always,

FOTD 6/30 Tequila Sunrise

I went to go hang out with some friends on Saturday and decided I wanted something super bright and super fun, so of course I got out my Sugarpill stash and went to town. I was inspired by the Tequila Sunrise drink and I was pretty happy with how it all came out even though I slightly fudged up the liner on my left eye. :/ Anyhow, I hope you guys like it! :)

Don't mind my brows, didn't have time to shape them how I wanted.

I was also trying out the new Tarte eye primer as I got a little sample kit the other day that has both their face primers and their eye primer and so far, so good on those!

Madd Style Cosmetics first impression

Recently I found about Madd Style Cosmetix and figured I would give them a go, I am glad that I did. Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE 'Grease' and so when I saw they were putting out the Summer Lovin' collection I figured it was now the perfect time to try out Madd Style. The collection had 4 new shadow colors that were exclusive to the grab bag, a lip balm and a sample of their new Glow Bronzer. I have yet to use the colors in a look since I got them as my allergies have been acting up making me have watery eyes, but I was impressed by their smoothness and pigmentation when swatching them. Once the TAT was over, my package was shipped and received quickly. They were packaged in a bubble mailer and the shadows were wrapped in a cute little bag. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and will be purchasing more in the future. :)

The little bag everything was wrapped up in.

Everything together

A free sample: LOVED this color, definitely need a full size!

The lip balm, it feels like silk on and smells like happiness
